FAQ's
Will the course be different this year?
- Yes! The course is going to be better than ever! Runners will enjoy a wider course along with changes to the start to make this year’s race the best one yet.
What is NOT allowed on the course?
- Dogs, bikes and rollerblades are not allowed on the course. Due to safety concerns, please note that strollers of any kind, including jogging strollers, WILL NOT be allowed on the course this year.
Can I listen to my iPod?
- Feel free to rock out as much as you’d like to your iPod as you conquer our 5k or 10k courses.
Where is parking located?
- Parking will be available at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The stadium’s parking staff will be on hand to direct traffic.
What streets will be closed due to the race?
- Please check for updated street closures
Will there be restrooms on the course?
- Restrooms will be available at the start and finish line, inside the Pepsi Center and along the course. Please check back for exact locations along the course. Please note that there WILL be more restrooms available this year along the course.
Will there be a bag check?
- Yes! There will be a bag check available at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Please check back for more information on location.
Will there be babysitting available?
- Babysitting will not be available. Please make appropriate arrangements prior to the race.
When and where will I be able to pick up my packet?
- Packet pick-up will be available prior to the race. Please check back for pickup dates, times and locations.
If I sign up for either the 5k or the 10k but want to switch, how do I do that?
- To switch the race you signed up for BEFORE September 16th please email FansOnTheField@nscd.org with the change request
- If you choose to switch races AFTER September 16th, please visit the registration table on race day
Are registration fees refundable if I’m unable to attend?
- Unfortunately all Fans on the Field registrations are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled due to extreme circumstances determined by the NSCD.
Can I bring my dog to the event?
- Dogs are welcome to be at the Tailgate Party at Invesco Field, if they are on a leash. They are not, however, allowed on the course due to restrictions with entering each stadium.
I would like to do the Rookie Run as a family, but I don’t see an adult price.
- The Rookie Run is only for children ages 10 and under. If your child is young enough to need assistance around the short course, a parent may accompany them. The adult may also sign up as a Fairweather Fan to receive a t-shirt and lunch and accompany their child during the Rookie Run.
Can I use my race time to qualify for another race?
- Although the 5k is not timed, both the 5k and 10k courses are USATF Certified and the 10k can be used as a qualifying time for other races.
